Newly purchased cups and flasks often retain a slight odor of food-grade PP plastic due to the manufacturing process (specifically, plastic molding). This is a normal characteristic of new products, but the odor can be eliminated before first use by employing the following methods:

1. Boiling Water Method
First, clean the interior of the cup with a neutral detergent. Then, pour boiling water into the cup and let it sit for two hours. Finally, rinse the cup thoroughly.

2. Milk Method
First, clean the interior of the cup with a neutral detergent. Then, pour two tablespoons of fresh milk into the cup, screw on the lid tightly, and let it sit for about four hours. Finally, rinse the cup thoroughly.

3. Tangerine Peel Method
First, clean the interior of the cup with a neutral detergent. Then, place fresh tangerine peel inside the cup, screw on the lid tightly, and let it sit for about four hours. Finally, rinse the cup thoroughly.
